Please take a moment to read through the instructions and make sure you fill out all of the below information correctly. Once you send through this form to us, you will be shown a confirmation page with a registration number. Please use the registration number for all further correspondence.

Once you have submitted the online entry form, we will contact you to validate your application. If your entry is about a toy, we will then ask you to send physical samples of the toy to this address:

You have until 21 June to submit your completed form and and until 26 July to make sure that the physical samples of the toy(s) have reached the TIE offices in Brussels. The more information you send through to us to ‘justify’ the registration, the easier it will be for the judges to form an opinion. We may come back to you for further information if something is not clear so it is important to leave correct contact details.

Life Skills

As mentioned in the category description, submissions to the Sustainability category will be assessed against their ability to deliver an overall positive impact for the environment, across all stages of the lifecycle. The motivation for this is that it is not always immediately obvious where the biggest impact is created.

For example, replacing a packaging material with a more recyclable alternative can be a positive step, but could represent only a small change in overall impact when considering the emissions generated elsewhere in the life of the product.

Entries are therefore very much welcomed for sustainable practices for individual lifecycle stages, although the judging panel will look for demonstration of how this relates to the total lifecycle impact.
